Most Delicious Restaurant: I really enjoy eating out, and have tried many of London's top restaurants. What makes a restaurant special for me is simple, unfussy food using quality produce and an interior that makes an impression on me. I like Scott's on Mount Street. It's glamorous but classy.

Best Bar: Shochu Lounge in Soho is sexy, warm and stylish with a Japanese influence. I can happily spend a few hours in there relaxing after a busy day on the salon floor.

My Special Place in the City: For me Westbourne Grove is one of the most exciting and stylish areas in London. You can find art galleries, designer boutiques and interiors shops which makes it very special for me.

Dream Holiday Location: It has to be the One&Only resort on Reethi Rah in the Maldieves. For me this place takes service to another level. The look is sleek, elegant and tropical. I took my wife there for our honeymoon, it was beautiful.

Favourite Film: The Godfather!! Because it is an insightful sociological study of violence, power, honour, obligation, corruption and justice. I have watched it countless times.

Best Book: The Japanese novel Norwegian Wood by Haruki Maurakami. The book brings out beautifully and subtly the difference between sex and love. Recommended if you are looking for something different.

Finest Hotel: For me Blakes Hotel in London's South Kensington is the epitome of style and service. Each room is lavishly designed by Anouska Hempel with an individual theme.

The gadget you can't live without: My MacBook!! I enjoy working on the Mac on a daily basis because it's very user friendly, it keeps me updated and in my free time I enjoy working on the design programes that Apple has to offer.

Top hair tip: Try the new GiellyGreen products, which will be sold in the salon in the New Year. I especially recommend the argan oil, which not only is natural but will smooth and shine your locks.
