avourite Clothes Shop: I love Selfridges because you can go in and find absolutely EVERYTHING that you are looking for. I also like The Hambledon in Winchester as they have such beautiful things for your home, delicate feminine clothing and cute little gifts.

Most Delicious Restaurant: I like The Cottage Inn, in Ascot, for its traditional English restaurant/ pub feel – it was built in the 18th Century! The food is consistently good, and it is always busy. My guilty secret is regular trips to Pizza Express; their pizzas are simply THE BEST.

Best Bar: The Haymarket Hotel bar serves the most delicious cocktails, and it is designed with the most gorgeous fabrics and wallpapers. The toilets are pretty amazing too!

My Special Place in the City: I love to go to Harrods pet shop, for the dog deli and to ‘coo’ over the tiny puppies for sale. I have a Border Collie/ Terrier cross called Hector who I love to spoil. He is 8 and the most loved rescue dog ever born! At lunchtimes I sometimes like to take a walk

Dream Holiday Location: That has to be New York. I have been so many times that I feel really at home there. I love the buzz, the shopping and the mix of people. It is great for food as there are so many fantastic restaurants, and the hotels are fabulous too.

Favourite Film: International Velvet; I first watched it when I was 9 years old. At that time I rode ponies, and dreamt that I was Tatum O’Neal, the star that rode in the Olympics.

Best Book: Gary Barlow’s autobiography because I love Take That! I also liked reading Kane and Abel, and found it so gripping I could not put it down.

Finest Hotel: The Four Seasons in Hampshire is close to my house, it’s very calming with a lovely spa and bar, horses which you can ride, and cookery demonstrations. Heaven! I also like the Bellagio in Las Vegas because it’s MAD, and Chateau de la Chevre d’or in South of France for its beautiful views.

The gadget you can't live without: My mobile phone – of course, and also my secateurs because there is always something to snip in my garden.

Top hair tip: Run tomato ketchup through your hair if you get green hair from swimming in a chlorine pool, but remember to wash well afterwards so that you don’t smell like a tomato!
