André Suard Andre Suard is one of London's most highly respected 'master hairdressers'. Originally from France his love of fine food and eating out is deep rooted, and as you can see from his recommendations so is great taste.

avourite Clothes Shop: All Saints in Spitalfields and Portobello because I love their signature look, the quality, design and how they put clothes together. For suits Kilgour on Savile Row, Liberties for quirky items and designer-wise the great Alexander McQueen.

Most Delicious Restaurant: Dining out with friends is one of my favourite things to do. Les Trois Garcons has a fantastic atmosphere and decor; they have managed to mix taxidermy with boutique chic and diamonds – magnificent. I also like the Fat Duck, The Plough in the Cottswolds, Aqua and Rokka for Japanese and Hakkassan.

Best Bar: I am a member at Shoreditch House where they serve the best Mojitos in town, minty and fresh with lashings of rum – delicious!

My Special Place in the City: Again Shoreditch House, it’s the best place to be from breakfast until dinner, come rain or sun. I also like spending time on Portobello Road because there are so many interesting things to see. I like to stop for a coffee at the Elecric Brasserie, or relax in their cinema on big, comfortable leather chairs.

Dream Holiday Location: Thailand is just pure bliss. When I am there I feel that all my senses are stimulated, food, scenery, massage, they have it all. I also like Umbria in Italy as I love Italian food. It’s a little off the tourist track, so shhhh don’t tell anyone!

Favourite Film: I’m not fussy when it comes to films. I like thrillers and science fiction so anything which fits into this genre suits me - although you will rarely catch me at home in front of the television.

Best Book: I have a confession to make... I don’t read, I HATE it! I would much prefer to flick through a magazine like W or Wallpaper and anything interior focused.

Finest Hotel: Babington House is the most spectacular retreat for those weekends when you just need to get out of London. The service is spot on, and the food delicious. I also like Townhouse on Dean Street. I recently held a birthday party for my friend there, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The night went without a hitch. Perfect.

The gadget you can't live without: I use my i-Phone for everything. I am also very into my apps, my favourite is Awesome Notes. I have to be very organised because of my work, this helps me keep on top of things.

Top hair tip: My advice is simple; look after your hair. Don’t over process it, and do regular treatments. There is nothing more beautiful than healthy, shiny hair.
